Pilihan pertama para publisher Indonesia masih pada Google Adsense, apalagi saat ini iklan mereka sudah bisa tampil pada kontent yang berbahasa Indonesia.
Manisnya dollar dari Adsense, didukung oleh perusahaan-perusahaan lokal yang juga memilih Google Adsense sebagai mitranya. Tidak sedikit perusahaan besar yang mempercayakan promosinya kepada Google adsense.
Bicara tentang perusahaan lokal, penulis memiliki pengalaman yang sangat menyedihkan. Misalnya :
- Minimnya iklan yang berkualitas. Hampir setiap halaman, hanya menampiklan iklan dewasa, obat kuat, judi online dan sejenisnya. Secara pribadi, saya malu menampilkan iklan seperti itu di blog/website yang saya kelola.
- Tidak accountable. Suatu saat saya mengamati statistik web saya, pengunjungnya sudah mencapai 600an, namun page impression di catatan mereka masih 11. Wah, langsung saya berhentikan iklannya.
- Iklannya kurang variatif. Pernah saya amati, iklan sudah tampil sebanyak 6000an kali, namun hanya 5 kali di klik, dan saya dapat 1250 rupiah selama 1 hari. Padahal posisi iklan sangat strategis. Nah, iklan ini juga langsung saya berhentikan.
Jadi agar dapat bersaing, maka perusahaan Iklan Online (PPC Advertiser) Indonesia harus introspeksi diri dan berbenah diri. Bagaimana pengalaman anda ?
